72 VW Super Beetle Electric Car Conversion

Can you provide a site, or info, on converting a VW Beetle to an AC electric motor?

Hi, Chris -
Sure.
Check out Jonathan Barraclough's 65 Baja bug on the EV Photo Album. He's put an AC golf cart motor in it and is running it at 74 volts (lithium battery pack makes for the odd voltage).

He says it's pretty peppy!
