Which are the best electric scooter batteries, and why?

I asked Andy Reich from Falcon EV to field this question. He says, "LiFePO4, Lithium Iron phosphate, are definitely the best electric scooter batteries available today. They should:

• Last 5+ years;


• Weigh 1/2 as much as lead;


• Have a flatter discharge power curve;


• Have more power output than lead; and most of all...


• ...be cheaper than lead in the long run."
