EV University Online
Take me straight to the content survey.
There's a project in the works, and it's called EV University.Are you... - A little confused by the conversion manuals?
- Baffled by all the math and physics involved?
- Wondering how to build the best conversion for the least money?
- Would you rather do it right the first time?
Don't worry, you've got a lot of company! Some of us are lucky enough to have college courses on EVs nearby; we have quite a few of them in Seattle. We decided to put some of the very same classes ONLINE here at Electric Cars Are For Girls, taught by the same instructors, using the same materials and demonstrations, so that everyone can benefit (but you don't have to commute to Seattle to take the class). Cool, huh? And we're calling it EV University. Here's what you can expect: - Lots of useful written information you can't get anywhere else (unless you take a class at your local college, of course);
- Videos of the class demonstrations;
- Spoken lectures with slides, just like in the classroom;
- The opportunity to ask questions of the instructor, and get answers; and best of all...
- No time constraints, and no grades. Learn at your own pace.
We Need Your Help!
You can help build EVU by telling us which classes you're most interested in. Fill in the form below, and let us know what you want!Beta testers: We need a few brave souls to volunteer as test pilots, take the course, and let us know where the glitches are. Are you that brave? There's a spot on the form to sign up. Update: Thank you, beta-test volunteers! We've now filled all our slots for this, and for those who were selected, we'll be contacting you shortly. Instructors: We need well-qualified instructors to teach classes here at EVU. If you've got the brains, we've got the bricks!
