Golf Cart Battery Box

Blue Sea Systems Golf Cart Battery Box

Is anyone using a golf cart battery box for their conversions? I'd like a nice, tightly-enclosed battery box that doesn't leak, and don't fancy building my own.

Hi, L.E. -
You'll probably need several if you're gonna go this route, since electric cars usually have a higher voltage system than golf carts...but there's no reason why they won't work. An advantage of golf cart battery boxes is that they're made out of materials that won't corrode when you spill battery acid on them, they're waterproof, there are places for the cables to go through, and your golf cart batteries fit nicely in - almost as if they were made for the purpose; )

Lynne
