I am setting up a company to convert motor homes to electric
by: Willard Elliott

I see a great opportunity due to the numerous free charging stations throughout Canada and the USA.

I am developing a best practices electric Engine that will have a Horsepower equivalent to a Chrysler 440 CI. This engine is 1/8 electric motor and 7/8 electronics control. I will be using air bearings and carbon fiber in my construction. The batteries will be Edison Batteries due to their robust construction and there ability to be recharged from dead to fully charged in 30 minutes.

Hi, Willard -
That sounds wonderful! Please let us know how it's progressing.

Want to convert
by: Pam Van Londen

I have a 2008 21QB Freedom Express motorhome built by Camping World. It runs a Chevy workhorse gas engine.

Has anyone successfully converted something this size to hybrid? I'd like to travel long distances at freeway speed (perhaps using gas) but drive it around town (using electric).

If you know if a conversion kit that would work, please let me know.

Pam
