If I converted a car/truck to electric I would want it to be plug in and/or solar re-chargeable. Is that a major deal to do?
It would seem not, since I could just purchase a correct sized solar panel to charge the electric system of that vehicle, correct? That way I would be "Off-the-grid".

The solar panels go on the roof of your house, or in an appropriate place in your yard - not on the car itself.
