Is it possible to add an electric motor to the Hyundai XG350 to extend gas mileage?
Hi, Glenn - The good news? NetGain makes the EMIS conversion, which will turn a gas-guzzler into a hybrid vehicle.
The bad news? Your car isn't on the list. One of their conversion partners, Salida Conversions in Colorado, says the requirements for the EMIS conversion are as follows: Automatic transmission, a front mounted engine and rear wheel or 4 wheel drive. (I think your car's a front wheel drive, unfortunately.)
NetGain's working on improvements all the time, and they've indicated they're working on front-wheel-drive applications, too.
